If you want a wood shop, start with a blank canvass.
Let's be honest, the average garage these days has become less of a home for the car and more of a dumping ground for, well... STUFF.
The fact is, if you want your woodshop, it's all got to go.
You'll have to get used to calling it a shop or a wood shop, otherwise you'll find that your significant other keeps leaving boxes next to the door for you to find a home for in there.
Ah, who are we kidding, that'll happen either way.
The point is... You're going to need to rehouse that stuff so you're either going to need to build your own shed or buy one.
Building your own is a great project if you have the time. It might even be cheaper.
If you decide to go that route, and don't have time to design your own shed, there are plenty of online shed plans you could turn to here are a couple of examples...

We also recommend that you take a trip to your local hardware store. They typically have sheds for sale but you don't always have much to choose from.
