The Gyokucho #405 is a single edged cross cutting saw with a thin 0.5mm kerf. It is a great general purpose saw, equally at home with hard and soft wood.
Using a slightly thicker blade, there is no need for a stiffening spine/back so there's no limited depth of cut.
Comes with a traditional and extremely light, Paulownia wood rattan wrapped handle and the blade is replaceable.
